In the Shadow of the Floater

June 04, 2025 in 2025

Imagine a small shadow drifting across your field of vision—a floater in the eye. This tiny clump casts a shadow on the retina, momentarily capturing your attention and shifting your focus. The surroundings blur, and the floater becomes the center of your perception.

This phenomenon mirrors our experience with trends and fleeting moments. Like the undeveloped areas of an instant photo, floaters obscure parts of our view, altering our perception of the whole. As trends emerge, they eclipse the mundane, making us question what we consider significant or true—an inquiry central to epistemology. This exhibition embraces the floater on the horizon, elevating them to the significance of a setting sun or a bird crossing the ocean. In the Shadow invites you to see how these transient elements, though small, can shift your perspective and redefine your understanding.
