Dear So-and-So is an exhibition that celebrates collaboration in an innovative way. Co-curators Mary Lewey and Helen Popinchalk selected a group of artists working in a variety of mediums to choose an artist pen pal. Each artist has worked on a group of pieces before handing them off to their collaborator. This long-distance back-and-forth is documented at each step as the works progress and develop. Dear So-and-So features the finished collaborations between each artist duo.
This kind of call and response collaboration demands lots of trust and (probably) some amount of humility!
